Arriving on the heels of the critically acclaimed Adieu Or Die, which saw Will rewiring classics from The Beach Boys for 2012, Eli's Prism follows the main character on a wild journey during a crucial moment in his life and career. Trapped by the stresses of the world and the rat race of Boston city, one must break away or die trying. Does our rhyming hero make it? The listener will have to decide as they enter a 38-minute landscape of intricately woven sound waves. The bass rumbles and the drums pound as Will C. follows the sun headed west in the fight of his life.
Assisting Will in the battle are long-time friends and skilled musicians 7L & Esoteric, Blacastan, Berklee College of Music Professor Raydar Ellis and Raheem Jamal of Project Move. Vocally and sonically the record astounds and rewards with repeated listens.
