Arriving on the heels of the critically acclaimed Adieu Or Die, which saw Will rewiring classics from The Beach Boys for 2012, Eli's Prism follows the main character on a wild journey during a crucial moment in his life and career. Trapped by the stresses of the world and the rat race of Boston city, one must break away or die trying. Does our rhyming hero make it? The listener will have to decide as they enter a 38-minute landscape of intricately woven sound waves. The bass rumbles and the drums pound as Will C. follows the sun headed west in the fight of his life.
The release features a 32-page PDF booklet with tons of photos, lyrics, and liner notes. Assisting Will in the battle are long-time friends and skilled musicians 7L & Esoteric, Blacastan, Berklee College of Music Professor Raydar Ellis and Raheem Jamal of Project Move. Vocally and sonically the record astounds and rewards with repeated listens. Under the guidance of legendary engineer Stephen W. Desper (Frank Zappa's Apostrophe and Over-nite Sensation, The Beach Boys' Sunflower and Surf's Up), the young arranger has sharpened his blade and spent years crafting something special. In his own words,
"When a project begins with the construction of a frog mask and ends with you getting electrocuted by something called an Elmo 16-CL, you have some explaining to do. Eli's Prism is completed. In a world where endless distractions are not-so-conveniently jam packed into pocket-sized devices, it's hard to leave the grid even for a few moments. Try it out though. Don't let people know what you're up to. Make it impossible for everybody in your life to track you down, if only for thirty-five minutes. Find a good pair of headphones and a dark room."

Eli's Prism is entirely produced by Will C. save for the closing cut, Target Practice (Raydar Ellis). Countless forgotten 16mm films, VHS tapes and records were delved into, all to find those short slivers of audio bliss. They are finally molded together, with every piece appearing where it was meant to go, and the results are fresh and exciting.
Will C. has numerous singles, EPs and three previous full-length releases to his name – 2009’s Evil in the Mirror (Brick Records), a 2009 tribute to his friend and mentor, the late Mr. Magic: Down the Dial (Double You Productions), and this past February's highly-praised Adieu Or Die, an ambitious homage to The Beach Boys. He also boasts mastering, re- mastering, liner notes and/or executive producer credits on dozens of music and video projects over the past several years, ranging from the acclaimed DVD 80 Blocks from Tiffany’s, Augustus Pablo’s Ital Dub and Boogie Down Productions’ Criminal Minded.
